2024 Woodlands Open
The 2024 Woodlands Open was contested on Sunday 13th October. The 104 player field faced very gusty wind conditions and scoring on firm and fast Sandbelt greens would prove to be a a real test. After a gruelling 36 holes, the winner of the Men’s Open was Christopher Thomson (Maryborough GC) with rounds of 73,73 Total 146. Michael Sterling (Woodlands GC) was Runner Up on a countback from Toby Kilpatrick (Woodlands GC) on 149. In the Women’s Open, Arena Tran 160 ( Riversdale GC) was a runaway 6 shot winner from Sophie Mann 166 (Keysborough GC).
A special thanks to the wonderful members who gave up their time as volunteers, starters, running lunch packs, spotting and marshalling which helped the day flow.
